Only the top end quattro system is AWD, the rest are 4WD. When you lose grip half way around a corner, the difference is really noticable

Ok well we just got back from the first subaru dealership. The legacy 2.5i is what we will most probably be getting. The GT is too much money for not a whole lot more in my moms terms. Shes not one to need a whole lot of features and a turbo. I got to drive the 2.5i.....it flies right off the line....very quiet and enjoyable. I like it ALOT! I dont think you can make a wrong choice with getting a legacy. For a car that has 168 HP and a 4cyl engine that car flies. I love it....they did say location of a car was going to be a bit difficult since the 06 models are ready to come out in a bout a month or so. They kept trying to push their 11k mile demo car on us and wouldn't understand why we wouldnt take that one instead . I had to get an attitude with the guy and say...." its the difference of getting a new car...or getting a car thats been sued for a year for 10 dollars cheaper a month!" He stopped asking.......but this is a subaru / honda dealer....so when my mom had a problem with their price he of course mentioned the accord and civic...i almost became enraged because i told him 50 times we weren't looking for a honda. So my mom is working out the numbers with my uncle....our top 3 color choices are the silver, white, regal blue. That of course depends on availability.

leasing comes down to.....36 months 2k downpayment for 329 a month. Or 48 months 2k downpayment for 278 a month. 48 months is a little too long....when we had an issue with 329 the big boss came down and said he could go 319 a month for 36 months. The guy said if we gave him a 500 dollar deposit he MIGHT be able to get it down to 299 a month for 36 months. My mom laughed and said no LOL . So that is where we stand at this point...the guys were pushy but very nice. Hopefully we will have a car deal made this evening....but being my uncle is going to get involved who knows . My uncle is one to argue and haggle a price down....dealers get so pissed with him it gets embarassing which is why i dont go but hey he gets the deal in the end . Our honda was 239 a month with 0 down for 36 months.

Sounds to me like they tried to hit you with a Double Bubble. Because they thought you were Edgy since you were in the market for an Eye Baller. Thank goodness you were smart enough to came back with an Elevator Pitch and start Sand Bagging. Then you probably got tired of being treated like a Bird Dog and your Back End was in the Bird House so you had to hit them with a Brick who in this case was your uncle. Just be thankful you didn't negotiate with a Rookie Climber who would try to hit you with a Double Dip causing you to increase your Down Stroke. Bye the way, this kind of stuff never happens at a Lexus dealership. Because, its a Candy Store...

We stopped by another subaru dealership this morning and it appears the guy in the other dealer lied to us when he said the 06 models weren't coming out untill october or november because this subaru dealer allready had 06's on their lot. The 06 legacy 2.5i comes with a moonroof and the GT alloys. We worked out the deal and everything. Were choosing on silver or white. I personally love the white with black interior. Looks like were going to buy it instead of leasing...so im going to do a little modding to the exterior . September 7th is when a program or special deal is supposed to come around to the salesperson told us to wait untill then. Very pleasant people at Rye Subaru.
