The Skyline GT-R has an inline-6 engine (RB26DETT) which is slanted to the right of the engine bay (when facing engine) to accomodate a huge exhaust manifold + turbo + piping. It's not a 'slant' six by nomenclature, but 'practically' speaking it is slanted and it is an inline 6.

P.S. I'm by no means an expert on the Skyline GT-R, but from being the former owner of a 300ZX TT, having visited Japan in 2002, and following Skyline development for over 10 years, I have a pretty good understanding of these cars.

...But none of that matters, since the car's not even really a Lexus SC. Look at what's left of the roofline, the wheelbase, the total length...
I'm still trying to figure out what this was before it was mauled by "loud and luxurious" crew.

One word popped into my mind when I first saw the pics..."ignorant".

Not that I don't find just about everyitng on the car rediculous and laughable, what I really despise (always been a pet peeve) is the fake convertible top. To me, nothing screams "I'm a douche bag!" like a fake convertible top, especially one with a sunroof, one with a sunroof and a huge air deflector, and one with slabs of crome supertaped to the "B" pillars emphasizing that it really can't be a convertible. This has all three! Good God!!! As far as the monitors (gives new meaning to "eyes in the back of my head")...ignorant...just plain ignorant. A fool and his money are soon parted. I find myself unable to appreciate even the workmanship that went into that trainwreck.

Johnny (had to vent a little after witnessing that one)

Crap, you may be right...

By itself, it looked all dis-proportionate.

It's not just the huge 24" wheels for me...it's also the fake Z3 gills, the ugly hood, the front spoiler and the 'ground effects' side skirts!

See, its a nice color, and the silver on the car goes well with the rest of it... it's the bling wipers that throw me off. Can one really purchase gold colored wiper arms and blades? If so, who in their right mind would actually do such a thing?
