H-6 Uncorked
Ever heard an H-6 completely uncorked? This is with a straight pipe back- no resonator, no cats, and no muffler.

That was awesome. I wonder what a short set of headers and sidepipes would sound like.
I drove mine around the block exactly as you have yours now once when I was in a transitional phase. It was evil. Extremely loud. I loved it.

I did that with an XT6.
It was extremely loud, and awesome. Only difference is we took off everything. Not one inch of pipe, and no maf tube.

Drovearound the block with no exhust when iwas almost doen with my 5spd conbversion i set off like 3 or 4 car alarms in 1 cirlce of the block

Having actually driven my SVX about one mile to the exhaust shop with just the stock exhaust manifolds on, I can personally attest to the "wicked" sound
 The only problem I came across - granted I never got over 40 mph - was that the whole car went into resonance at around 2000-2500 rpms. Guess I could have just cranked up the stereo  -Bill p.s. SVXHunter is definitely right about reaching a point of diminishing returns regarding lack of backpressure vs Hp
