Fuel trim?

Do the OBD I ECUs have a long term fuel trim function or is this something related to the later cars only? How can these be accessed?

The FSM does not mention anything else than the alpha 1 and 2.

If there is a longt term trim function it would be nice to look at the adapted fuelling maps. If someone has a detailed description how the fuel trim works I would be interested :-)
