Swaping in 4.44's, should the diff be rebuilt?

I am going to be swapping 4.44's into my 92 and am wondering what parts I should buy for the rear diff. I have been searching and looking through SVXfiles locker and it seems like most of you use the 4.44 diff housing and then swap over the LSD from the stock SVX. My car has 220K miles and I think the carrier bearings might need to be replaced. The rear end sounds and drives good, and the car is going to be used as a daily driver. So far I have ordered the cv shaft seals and don't want to pull the pinion and replace that seal if I don't have to, so what do you guys suggest?

Get a dial gage and related fixtures to make sure you set the pinion depth correctly. I'd suggest you contact Tom (SVXFiles) via PM to get the specific details. He's the "guru" on 4.44 swaps!

I have been pm'ing SVXfiles and he has suggested some of the tools needed for the swap, I was mostly wondering what kind of parts I should buy. Mabe I will shoot him another and see what he says.

Here is what I am thinking
- carrier bearings
- I heard there is a o-ring for the side caps
- anything else????
