Right now my biggest concern is having enough burgers and figuring out a better recipe for macaroni salad
The date is still set for the 12th, and it currently looks like there will be about5-7 svxi there,Along with a few local friends.Feel free to add yourself to the list(Or update the mabeys to a yes/no)
So come on down! And take the back roads,They're more fun and less crowded

What time do you guys think you're going to be there till? I'm not going on vacation that week but because I'm going later on I can't get both weekends off, so I won't be able to make it there till about 3.

Any locals have a tip on a hotel in the area for Fri or Sat night? I'm guessing something inland a few miles would be less expensive and more available?

There is a Holiday Inn not too far away but I wouldn't be surprised that their rates are jacked sky high because of it being summer and all. The Inn I work for is rediculously expensive and has 3 night minimums so I could be no help there... But yeah, the HI is on rt 72 in Manahawkin do a searcha nd check out their rates

I am hoping to get there early in the morning and leaving around 2:00. I have work that day at 4 and battling traffic is not going to be fun on change over day. So, Eric not to steal any thunder or planning, how does 9am sounds for the initial meetup and then we will hit Acme for food??

Actually there's a igh probubility I wont be making it now. Sorry guy's. Any extra time I have will probubly be spent swopping out the Stage III parts so I can return the parts to LAN. He needs the manifold and stuff off mine to setup for someone else.

Plus I dont know when I'll be returning from Deep Creek, MD, and I will probubly have a new Autocrosser to start working on. I'm considering picking up a 1986 Nissan 200SX tomarrow. My father and I will probubly be going partners on the 200SX as a racer. He drove in his first AutoX at DC. He didnt do to good with the Vett (kept complaining about traction), but he had a blast.

Sorry for the delay in a reply, as my keyboard AND internet connection werent working. Now that that's remedied....
its still on, unless some cataclysmic event happens between here and then.
As for the times itll be going on:
Ill be at the park around 10AM. Sometime before that ill be buying chips, ect. The night before ill pound out some patties and let them marinade (I dont mess arund with my burgers )
the grill fires at noon, and festivities continue untill everyone decides they are bored and leave. Im going to guess thatll be sometime around duskish (8PM mabey?)
I was wondering....and this is just an idea I am going to toss out there. Would anyone be intrested in a sceninc / photo drive? The catch: its dirt roads. Theres a near by gaming reservey typed deal that has some decent dirt roads. a few potholes and braking bumps but otherwise fairly smooth and well packed. I could lead the way for anyone intrested. Ill test the roads the day before just to make sure some redneck didnt decide to make ruts in the road
So yeah, ill see you the 12th
