I was at Pikes Peak.
Wasn't the turn out I thought, but it was very fun.
My first time going to anything like that.
We got there at 5 am. Too bad the weather had a say in it.

I wish! Having a wife and two kids makes it kinda difficult. I just love watching it on TV. Those hill climb cars sound awesome! Good weatehr or not, I would have a great time!

got there late then refused to pay 40 dollars, turned around back through black hawk and won 50 dollars, all in all not a bad day to miss pikes peak.

Yeah...I guess you didn't know, but they did have to cancel most of the race (I heard it has never happend at Pikes Peak before) due to the weather. Most of the people got stuck at the top of the mnt. in 2 inches of hail and some snow. (Being there was actually worse than it sounds)

It was fun for the most part.

Statistically speaking, next year should be better. How early did you get up there this year?

Next year we should organize some sort of SVX thing.
