***Engine Washing***

Time to get rid of the winter grime in the engine compartment. Any recommendations on what to use? Are there components that should be covered when rinsing?

There are a few threads on this topic. I use Simple Green for a degreaser and don't spray the garden hose on the electric stuff. Start with a cold engine on a dry sunny day, blow dry and don't spray into the port at the rear top passenger side of the engine. This is the access to the flex plate bolts.

hehe, that is unless you have found a way to actually get that silly plug to stay where it's supposed to!

(black silicone is working so far on mine)
