If the set designers had that car brought in as "decoration" for the shoot (or even simply moved the homeowner's car to that particular spot), it could just be due to hyperactive lawyers wanting to make sure the car couldn't accidentally roll back onto any actors or crew.

It would be interesting to find out who's car that is, and how it came to be there.
