Wheel bearing seals
Which way do the bearing seals (inner & outer) go on? Spring side towards the bearing? And do they also get pressed in?

The open side (spring side) goes toward the center.
Pack them full of high speed/high temperature grease before you tap them in with the correct sized circular device. For example a bearing race, that fits the outside diameter of the seal...

Thanks! That is the way I did it. Last time I did not fill the seals or pressed them in. I
Noticed a gap between the bearing and seal (the seals were not pressed up against the bearings). Could this cause the failure due to dirt or moisture entering?
