Re: Mysterious 'clunk' from front end
I believe he is talking about the bolt on the anti-roll bar on the driver's side. The anti-roll bar is a two piece design (presumably because the way it goes through the subframe wont allow for a one-piece). take off your wheel and look in front of the control arm where the anti-roll bar travels the length of the car to the other side. You will see where the two parts of the bar come together with a splined-joint and clamp. The bolt is on that clamp. The problem I had was that mine had been loose for some time and had worn-out the splines.

Re: Mysterious 'clunk' from front end
No - that is not the bolt that I was referring to.
If you look at http://www.subaru-svx.net/photopost/...php?photo=1803, the bolt that I was referring to is the top one on item number 13 in the diagram. Jason.

Re: Mysterious 'clunk' from front end
Oh ok sorry
Btw, number 13 is the anti-roll bar "end link" and not a bolt. |
