Brakes are for wussies *grin*
Oh let me rephrase that.... Wide open, till you see God, THEN brake!
Not really an issue with my Pinto though...conservation of momentum....get it going & keep it going.

My 94 Used to be FWD. It's got a 92 Awd setup in it and i had the speedo all the way over once (it was scary) I don't think any of these cars had fuel cut at any vehicle speed, but the ecu does cut fuel at excessive engine speed (I can't remember if it is at 6500 or 7000) I kinda miss my FWD, the car was alot quicker.

when trying to slow down from these speeds, does everyone else get that heavy vibration in the brakes? or is it just time for me to put these new pads on?

I was hanging with a friend's 2005 STi last night (closed course, proffesional drivers...) and i had to gently massage the brakes slowing down from 125mph to keep the whole car from shaking apart - I have a set of new front OEM brake pads, but don't wanna use them until I have to
