In Kentucky, that's what we call Tupperware. Nobody's ever brave enough to pop that burp seal to see exactly what life form last month's pork roast evolved into.

My cars fuel pressure it running right under specs..

I think the low went is supposed to be 27psi, and mine at the high end is running around 25psi...

is it possible to have almost enough pressure, but the flow still be chocked off..

cuz Im wondering if I dont have a bad fuel pump / regulator, or a cloggged fuel line..

Silly question...

but have you replaced the fuel filter? It only takes a couple tanks of sludge to seriously reduce fuel flow.

that has not been done...

I think Im going to take it in again.. have them change the filter..
and then test it again...

the car is getting so bad... if you take off from a stop..

the car cant rev over about 5500rpm... and just revs there..

rrrrhhrrrrrr.. rrrrrhhhhrrrrrr.... kinda bounce up and down from 5300 to 5500

doesnt ever get high enough to shift....

hmmm...now that you mention that, another member had a part of his exhaust fail and cause a similar problem...wouldn't rev over a certain RPM.

well, just yesterday.. I had new cats installed (they were partly clogged)
and the muffler checked... everything in the exhaust is ok now..

I have had EVERYTHING checked.. took it to the tranny shop.. its ok
had the timing check.. the TPS checked. .. new spark plugs.. new timing belt..
had each cylender checked for compression..

Im going to take it up to subaru.. and have them check the fuel pump/filter/regulator.. thats the only thing left... if thats not the problem.. I donno what to do..
