Hello alacrity!

If you come to austria you are welcome to be the DJ of our private party

Every month we have got a private party at a friends house.
There are alot of people (bout 100 up to 200) who celebrate with us.

We have got 2 floors and also use "Technics 1210".
Music played (drum&bass/trance/house/techno/hip-hop) --> depends on "how drunken the people are"

Have a nice week
Maybe I am going to post a pic of the last party.

ha ha! sounds great! my parents took my younger brother to austria (kitzbul?) a few years ago for a skiing/snowboarding vacation, but I had to be in school, so i wasn't able to come.. my father keeps telling me that he wants to take me, so if he finally breaks down and decides to do it, i'll make sure our trip lines up with one of your parties and i'll bring my records

-adam

please post pictures!

Cool man. Lotsa $$ there. Hey, how do you like your Kaos pad? I thought they looked really cool, especially this mixer that has a built in Kaos pad... I'm kinda itchin for that, but I've never played with one. How are they?

heehee yeah, i finally got the balls to take out a $1500 loan to buy a setup and i've never looked back..

the kaoss pad is hella fun. I understand that there's a pioneer effects unit (i think) which is better and has more features, but the KP is just super cool to look at and fun to play with. the BPM-sync echo is pretty fun to toy around with and the onboard synths are interesting.

i've got the "KP2" which has a bunch more features than the original kaoss pad.. i was initially planning on buying Korg's integrated Kaoss mixer (the numark one just strikes me as a little bit chintzy) but eventually i decided that it was better to get them seperate, although now you can get a Korg Kaoss mixer for less than an actual KP2 I think..

i just got a new computer, too (w00t) and i've been recording a lot of mixes to mp3.. once i find a server with adequete space and bandwidth, i'll upload some of 'em

Thumbs up Skiing in Austria

Well, your father and your younger brother was in Kitzbühel!
One of the most famous downhill skiing region in Austria.

It's in the western part of Autria. About 300 miles away from my home.
I have been there as a child. We went there from school (skiing vacation).

Tell me if you are going to Austria again.
We can meet up then.

yep, djing is quite lucrative for sure...
but since i've moved to madison, i've only done like 2 gigs.... one cuz i had to step in (the original dj at the house party just kinda left) and the other one was the party that my school organization threw so didn't make much there....

i like your setup.... but have to say that due to financial constraints i'm limited to some pretty old cd decks... no cool effects, only cool music hehe....

i prefer disco house / house / trance / or even the chill out music.... but seems like to make money i have to play hip hop... so usually i tell them to burn me 2 cds of the stuff they have to hear for sure then i sub in my own music for the rest of the time...

sigh... anyone in madison looking for a dj?

@Seraph

Good to hear that you liked Austria!
Will you ever come back over here for holiday maybe?

You have been to Vienna, right?
Have you been to any clubs there?

Slow isn't the word, Adam! You better PM Lwin right quick! I look forward to listening to one of your samples when I get home from work. Will be at work by the time the one finishes.

Did you say CD? Please tell me they're actually 'dj' cd players... nothing pisses me off more than someone with 2 crappy cd players and a mixer with a fader who calls themself a DJ to get chicks. Ack.

strange.. being a full-fledged DJ who's $1,500 in debt hasn't landed me a single chick yet. i'd better start working harder
