Squeek

my door locks squeek very loudly when locking or unlocking....

Can't say if it's common or not for others but mine don't squeek. Just hear the servo motor turn as it locks/unlocks.

my '94 with 43K went through this. some part of the mechanism inside the door was worn (and replaced by the subaru dealer where i bought the car). don't remember if it was the servo itself or and actuator or other (it's all in the file cabinet at home). all i remember was it was something more than a need for lubrication.

Try using white lithium grease. It seemed to work for me!
