...ANOTHER snow storm?!!! 10 degrees???!!! (the following is a vent..)
Now those of you who know me, know that I'm a gentle person.
Softspoken....wouldn't say an unkind word to or about anyone. ...but...  I've had it!!!!!  I want to drive on CLEAN roads...no slush and salt and cinders....I want to set a new elapsed time record between home and Beckley in the Focus, instead of looking out the window at it BURIED under yet ANOTHER snowfall... I'm telling the people at school that I've come down with the Creeping Crud and I'm under quarantine....packing the SVX and heading to Key West.... .....you can reach me at Jimmy Buffett's place. Call me when global warming resumes....  Don

Anyway it's cold here today. Only supposed to get up to the mid-sixties and it might rain a little. Damn I hate this weather! Well, I'm off to look up this storm thing you are talking about. Leslie is right. I'm nuts. I'm a gen-u-wine looney toon...
and I'm gonna get WORSE if I see too much more of the white stuff! HE thinks it's cool, 'cause he was never raised around it. A little bit is fun Leslie....at first.....BUT I'M TIRED OF IT....and...and there is more scheduled tomorrow night! (weep....sob...etc.) looking for the tissues....Don (You are right about one thing Leslie....forget Florida. Time for a web search....(type...type) Bonaire, Aruba, St. Kitts, Virgin Islands...some hotel MUST need a bartender, or busboy, or SOMETHING!!!!)

Well Don i dont see how you can get too tired of it, it isnt like i go play it in...Other than in the car..would like to learn how to ski...
You want nice weather try Australia...dry heat, not that humid stuff they have in FL. And on the good side there is more planed for the WHOLE week.

Let's see... another 45 inches of snow and Syracuse NY has made it all the way to an AVERAGE YEAR!...

I know I'm sick of it already. Shoveling sucks and so does driving the Taurus wagon. It might be bearable if I had my SVX right now.

Florida
Randy,
Leslie has some....ah....personal reasons why Florida doesn't appeal to him. Humidity is just part of it. Also he sees our snowy winter as an adventure, compared to other ones he has experienced. I'm sure he means no disrespect to those of you who live in the Sunshine State. As I watch the next front approach on the radar....you don't KNOW how much I wish I was back in Orlando... Don

And there are reasons i like florida...fishing, boating, and some great friends. But in general the weather is not nice at all...maybe in the keys..
