Fuel> power? what!?:SAFL J

here's my .02$
you can increase fuel.... but if you can' supply the correct
air to get the 15:1 A/F ratio, then you'll run ****ty...
hmmm more fuel flood it out run rich... you can't just tell
the engine to suck in more air unless you have another
throttle body hidden somewhere.. hmmmm
just a thought

By jove, I believe you're on to something!
BTW - 14.7 is stoichiometric.

That's what I said, Ruu. This '30 magical HP' rumor simply refuses to die.

30 more HP!

IT IS TRUE!!!

Yes, I think I may have found a way to explain the 30 HP and make everyone happy.

Horse power is a function of "Torque X RPM" (duhh). The diference between the "POWER" shift and the non-power shift could be up to 1000 RPM. The difference between the HP actually put to the ground at a particular speed could be 30 or more HP because you're in a lower gear (higher RPM).

Is the engine making 260 HP 'cause the "POWER" light is on? no.

Now, connect your Nos switch to the light and you're on to something!

Okay I see your point. There are two throttle control plates, one for each side of the engine and then the the inductor valve opens, an extra throttle plate is available to each side. WaLa extra air.

Maybe it's the difference between SAE Net and Japanese DIN power ratings? Hmmm?
