Arrow SVX in the shop...

So, for those of you that read my 'Stupid Philly Drivers' thread... My SVX took her trip to the Body shop on Monday... I am being told 7 whole days to fix her... meanwhile the other drivers insurance was kind enough to pay for a rental car for me, although I think I would rather be walking...

2002 Ford Focus, BRIGHT Red, Power NOTHING... not even a damn CD player... I mean cmon... they still make cars without cd players and with manual windows and door locks... I am truely hating this experience.

well i'd happily buy a stripped-down WRX.. they sell them in Japan for two reasons:

1) they're cheaper

and more importantly

2) they're lighter weight

In light of the ice floes I see on the Delaware River as I cross the Tacony Palmyra bridge... I hereby recant my statement of "I think I would rather be walking".

Was driving through Des Moines a few days ago with my brother and one of my roommates, we were telling stories laughin and i pull up to a stoplight laughing my @ss off cause of the stories. Well this guy in a Focus Hatchback rolls down his window and yells "Are you laughing at my Focus???" To which i replied "No i wasn't BUT I AM NOW!!!!" He sped away and swerved at me, i was rolling by that time because of the guys insecurity toward my lovely SVX

Your complaining about a ford focus? Granted they suck, but I'm driving around a 1995 dodge caravan, with every warning light known to man glaring me in the face. It's a loner while my car is in the shop, and it's died on me three times in the last week. Argg. Well I hope your experiance goes better than mine has.

i am sorry to hear that your car is sick. i hope she feels better

look at the brightside, you could be driving a NEON

my b/f had his old explorer fixed, they didn't latch the hood correctly so when he was driving down the highway, his hood popped up in his face. he is lucky that he didn't get hurt. anyways, he went back there, ripped some guys some new poopie holes and made them fix it. he got a really nice rent-a-car...an old POS Oldsmoblie with power nothing...chipping paint...ripped seats...broken radio...rusting...i felt sooo bad for him, heck, he only drove it when it was dark outside.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I'll be picking up a loaner on monday when they check for damage under the rear bumper. I doubt I'll be getting a decent car.

I really want my Justy back
