Ok, we are going to test our jigs and make sure all of our production materials are right with Mike621's car. Now once we have compelted this it will be up for production. Who would like to be in on the first real production run? The price will be anywhere from around $500-$750. This will vary on what the parts are going to cost but it should stay within these boundaries

Tom, as you know I am very interested in this project. All I need to do is convince my buddy Darren to help me with the swap (a.k.a. lend me your lift, tools and knowledge ) and save up some money. I already got the aluminum radiator for the SVX, all I need is the 5spd, a better suspension and some weight reduction to truly enjoy her.

You have my full support, I will closely monitor this thread and hope to be able to put my name on the list by this summer.

Best regards, and keep up the great work!

-Walter

If you have the actual space and tools, I may be able to do a little traveling this summer. Might be worth while for me to do this for others.

Also as a side note. Anyone who would still rather have me do their swap for them this kit will cut down seriously on logged hours and reduce the labor rates. Not sure exactly to what yet but we will find out when we do Mike's car

I here ya, I would do just about anything for a good mill and lathe, and some welding lessons, and a tig welder....I think thats it. But its impossible to get all that stuff and still fit 2 svx's in the garage...unless i keep one on the lift

Ok, well since I am not made of money right now, I need to ask that some of you interested pitch in some parts. I need pedal boxes for brake and clutch. I need SVX gas pedals. I also need some shifter linkage sets. Anyone who has these parts, please send my way so I can get this off the ground

Tom, if you tell me a component that is easy and quick to remove and reinstall, I can provide it as soon as I get my motorcycle back. I will take it out and send it over for you to measure and do what you need to do, but I would need it back in a week or so because when it rains I'd rather not ride the Duc.

Let me know,

-Walter

These are not parts I need for measurement, they need to be modified to work with the 5 speed. Sorry man but I appreciate the offer.

Count Me In!

I would be extremely interested seeing as I have to replace the transmission in two of my SVX's. I'd like to have a 5 speed in at least one of them. Let me know as soon as you have any prices figured out. I can send my parts to be modified as the cars are not really drivable at this time.
