I think the 92 silvers were also the rare ones as they only made that color in one year.

As far as the 97's i think they are all left over 96's that got a grill change.

If they were left over 96's then they would have 96 VIN's.

Those were total SVX sales for 93 for the US, not total 93 MY SVX's made worldwide.

"There is also a very nice dark Graphite grey, not too many around. Phil in the UK bought a late-model JDM car this year with a rare blue colour. It would be good to know how many of these were produced. Peacock Blue is the factory name for it."

Svxistensialist: I have a Dark Teal SVX which I have always read was also known as Peacock Blue in other markets. This Peacock Blue, if it is in fact also the Dark Teal in the US market, is definitely NOT rare, in fact I'd say it's one of the most common.

Yes I would have to agree with Danny. His model is a no emmisions model, only has a carbon canister and PCV. No cats, no closed loop, no EGR. I don't think there wouldn't be many markets that would have taken this model, except the oil rich ones, that couldn't care less about poultion or mpg. just wanted raw power.

Harvey.

Was "greenish air" (that sea green color) a factory color anywhere? I've only seen it in that JDM(?) ad. If it was, that's gotta be the rarest, as far as colors go.

Earl was saying a few months back that the 301 figure was verified through Subaru, so I think that one is settled.

Rarest and most valuable SVX is the prototype.
It has the most striking body design.
I hear it had no emissions equipment.
There is only one.

My bet is the mileage is quite low.

You can import any car you want into the US. I saw someone around here with an old rhd Jeep or some African Safari vehicle.

On stipulation: you must register it and have it converted to run on American fuel and meet emmissions regulations unless it will be registered strictly as an off-road vehicle.

Another way to do it is to buy up plenty of jdm rh parts, and do a swap.

It's not something that can be done within reason, but it is not pure fantasy.

Depends on the country of origin.

Some countries fuel quality and um, "ingredients" are not the same as ours.
