2 days left until I move!
As a reminder the SVXipedia and svx-iw.com will be down while the servers are moved and my DSL is set up in my new place. They will be doing the switch on the 15th so if they don't mess up then the SVXipedia will be down for less than a day.

Thanks for your creation and dedication of this site.
Congrats on your new house. That's a happy thing. Pics, pics, pics for your new house also the svxipedia server's pic. What is the limit that a DSL service and your server can handle? (It's interesting to have a website )

Pics will come up as soon as I get everything set up at the new house. Currently the servers sit in my basement under the stairs.
The new house is a split level. It's like having 4 floors as well as a crawl space! I think the servers are going in the crawl space.

I'm thinking the SVXipedia will be down around tomorrow betweem 9am and 9pm Central time. I don't really have a schedule...just a lot of junk to move.

I'm hoping to also improve my site speed. We currently get our TV through our DSL and I want to stop that and upgrade my DSL service to 5mbit. It's currently 3mbit. Unfortunately I can't get 5mbit AND have TV through the DSL.
In about half an hour I'll be signing off until about monday.

Well I guess the SVXipedia was down for even less than I planned.
The servers went on our first haul and the ISP guy showed up just as we were unloading that load. My gf was phoning in the meter readings for all the utilities so I took the time to plug in the router and server. I just plugged in the power and network cable, turned it on and hoped it would boot up successfully. There will be some down time tonight while I move the server to it's proper resting place (the cool crawl space). The move went well. It took 3 loads with my dad's Chevy halfton long box extended cab pulling a full size car hauler and one load with a U-haul cube truck.
