Mystery SVX style
On wednesday I drove to the local tranny fluid flush place. $80 later I have fresh ATF. On the
drive home the front wiper motor quit (2nd time in 2 weeks, 2 motors) I did da ja vu to my garage and complained to all who would listen that I am supposed to drive in the rain w/o wipers. That afternoon I began major stuff: new timing belt, U/R crank pulley, ATF fluid cooler, pulled the radiator to clean out the crap as best I could (went well) drained the power steering tank, new o rings (high pressure line & famous spot), new water pump (tuff job). Buttoned it up last nite, added fluids, first turn of key.....it ran&&&&&the wipers worked...go figure??????? Other than disconnecting the battery, what could have revived the wiper motor? If the wipers keep working I won't ask again. First test run with ATF cooler, 210 degrees, synthetic ATF going in on monday. Tranny flush place put in Mopar ATF, good, bad or otherwise?
