This thread needs a kick-start...

Why is it that you cannot starve to death in the desert? Don

Because you'd obviously die of thirst first. But no - this is supposed to be the humor section. OK - because you can always make a sand-wich. I think I'll retire on that one. Ron.

No, Ron, it's because of "The Sand Which is There" (Sandwiches there).

Doh!!! OK - pass the pastrami... or the camel. Whatever. Would a used vehicle dealer in the desert be a camelot? Ron

You've got to stop that. No, not the jokes, the "rimshot" I hear at the end of every sentence you write.

Here's one that everybody knows, but, bears entry into this thread:

What do you call a cross between an Elephant and a Rhinoceros?

Probably a used camelot.

Here's one on the desert theme.

Arab on a camel meets a lone Irishman trudging across the dunes in mid-afternoon heat. The Irishman is carrying a car door, the Arab thinks he is nuts.

"Surely it is too hot to be carrying a car door in this heat?" says the Arab

"Ah no", says the Irishman, "sure if it gets too hot I can always open the window"

Joe
