Oh my.....

Great.....Ravenswood....the clothespin capital of the world.

If this doesn't set us back a few years of PR Leslie, I don't know what will....

Want to split the difference with me Leslie? We can haul it back and divide up the parts. Like Ron says, we have a large lake nearby.....

When he says both radiators are missing I'm sure he means the radiator and the A/C condenser.

Looked at the car yesterday

Its not worth much unless you need a body to strip and repaint.

Interior:

The back seat was in pretty good shape but the front seats had a lot of wear and some holes. The dash had a phone or some screwed into it at some point. Missing its radio and some other stuff. Ingition switch is busted and loose on the column. Looks like someone tried to pry some of the panels under the steering wheel off. Center console (between seats) looked pretty decent though i didnt check to see if the mounts were broken. I have no idea if any of the switches worked as with the broken ignition switch it was having electical bothers.

Exterior:

The rims are decent but the tires are worthless. The car has almost 182000 miles on it so the suspension is shot. The paint on the fenders and front of the doors is bubbled from the fire and the plastic on the door mirrors is melted. Windshield is cracked. Sunroof has rust bubbles and it appears that the there was very slight rust starting to form on the driverside rear quarter. The paint is lightly scratched all over the car. Headlights, corners, center section, bumper, bumper beam and hood are all gone. The hood on it is off his other SVX and is junk. The radiator support beam is intact and appears straight. Doors seem in good shape and all the glass aside the windshield is ok.

Engine bay:

Missing all pumps (A/C, PS, Alt), coolant and A/C radiators. Everything else is there but who knows if it runs because of the electical problems. The engine does not crank when a battery is attached but there is a solenoid that clicks when the battery is attached.

Transmission:

Appears to be junk. Apparently the front wheels are locked in place even in neutral.

All in all I couldn't find much worth anything on the car to justify buying the car. Hope this helps anyone that might have considered buying this car.

I knew someone would ask about the visors, unfortunately that was the one thing I thought of (on the way home) that I should have checked but didn’t. By the time I got done looking at the seats and such I was so sidetracked that I completely forgot to look up at the visors. He wasn’t interested in parting out the car because I tried to convince him to sell me a couple parts but he wasn’t willing.

I suppose you could always buy the car an find out *ducks*

Sorry
