Angry I hate snow

Never did I expect to hear those words out of my mouth. But 36 hours ago it began and in that time I have spent about ten hours digging my car out. I have been stuck four times in four inches of snow. The third time I broke my alt belt. I made it to my girlfriends street before it died-but not before I got it stuck again. So there it sits the new belt is on but the "wheels that grip" aren't spinning and if the shovel doesn't work I'm Going to use explosives. I love my car, but it is possessed and the priest is snowed in. Blowing it up just seems like the most satisfying option.
Who wants to watch hahahahahahahaa!

Sorry to hear about your troubles in the snow Crash. I guess 4 inches is just a bit too much for our ground-hugging sports cars.

On the bright side, I heard skiing/snowboarding is awesome with fresh powder.

I have pushed snow with the bumper and not got stuck. Maybe the tires are not the best. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Good point Earl. I didn't even think about that. All-season tires are ok in the snow, but snow tires are always much better...

Get studs and use very light throttle pressure until then.

I still have the same all season. It was okay on 4" snow.

One time, the only time, I was stucked on 6-8" snow
parking lot. I couldn't even open my door.

I was naughty and almost got stucked on 6" snow
parking lot another night. I stayed for awhile. The SVX
engine's heat melted the snow and I was backward and
forward a couple times and finally got out.

I still have the same all season tires. They are still
doing alright on snow. I know how much my SVX can
handle.......I love driving on snow..

Get new winter tires. Even if they are $30 each they will be better than the best all-season tires.

Also if it prevents only one accident they are worth it.

From experience extra caution is required driving a 5 spd SVX in the winter compared to an auto.

We got rain and 30-40degF temps past couple of days...

I'd take foot deep snow over spurious potholes any day.

There's always an open invitation for members to try out my car if they're willing to come to Winnipeg.

We have some weather coming our way:
Quote:
Winter storm watch for city of Winnipeg continued

Strong winds, reduced visibilities in blowing snow, rapidly falling temperatures and dangerous wind chills expected to develop Wednesday.

A developing low pressure system in Alberta will move rapidly across the Prairies over the next 36 hours. Some light snow ahead of the system will begin tonight and continue Wednesday. In the wake of the low, strong northwest winds gusting from 50 to 70 km/h will combine with fresh snow and may reduce visibilities to less than 1 kilometre in blowing snow especially in open areas. The blowing snow and poor visibilities will begin over western areas Wednesday afternoon and spread eastward through the evening. In addition the strong northwest winds will combine with temperatures in the low Minus twenties to produce wind chills in excess of minus 40 Wednesday night. The strong northerly winds, blowing snow and dangerous wind chills will continue on Thursday.

Blizzard like conditions may develop locally and this watch could be upgraded to a warning as conditions deteriorate.
