Talking SVX and the Mullet sharing the same qualities

Being that I am a Pizza Boy and having long drives out in the middle of nowhere and a lot of free time to think about useless things, I have come to the conclusion that the SVX and the Billy Ray Cyrus Hair-do share at lease one common quality.

The big one line punch phrase for the Mullet is "Business in the front, Party in the back". It holds very true to it's description. When looking at the mullet hair-do from the front, it looks as though it means absolute business, "No fooling around here."

But when viewed from behind, the perception of a party attitude is present.

How does this all relate to the SVX, you may be asking. Well just view these pics and I think you will see.

SVX- Business up front

SVX- Party in back

Hmmm... I was thinking that it could pertain to how the car looks. Not a whole lot of sporty looks up front, but the rear end has got some sweet lines.

What are the wires that go up from your engine compartment to the hood? They look like they'd be just lying on the engine with the hood closed.

They look like wires going to LED windshield washer nozzles.

Yup, they go to the LED washer nozzle lights. I had since replaced the blue LED washer nozzle lights with white LED nozzles. I know it seems ricey and all, but the orig. washer nozzles are being used somewhere else.;D

The main reason the washer nozzles are there is because I needed an electrical source near the firewall for my mock headlight LED's. It is kinda hard to explain the reasoning behind my statement but when installing my stereo, I had found under the trim piece around the shifter an existing wire that the previous owner had run to that position. Check my locker for pics.

This pic should help explain why I'm not using the stock nozzles. I rigged up a radiator sprayer and that is where the stock nozzles are.

Thumbs up

I'd agree with you there.

From the front the SVX is unassuming - it doesn't look menacing like the 3000GT, Supra, Viper or RX-7 front ends.

However, from the back the car is pure sporty fun! Twin tailpipes with some incredibly sweet lines!!!

Hrm. I would hope MY mechanic would say ENGINE, since motors are electrical.

In the hills an' hollers around here, it's a motor, regardless.

(Not so surprising when you consider that the crankcase is filled with motor oil. )

This isn't quite true. An engine is a type of motor... it's kind of like one of things you'd see on the SAT or in an IQ test... all engines are motors, but not all motors are engines.

Here's the definitions from dictionary.com:

Motor
1. Something, such as a machine or an engine, that produces or imparts motion.
2. A device that converts any form of energy into mechanical energy, especially an internal-combustion engine or an arrangement of coils and magnets that converts electric current into mechanical power.
3. A motor vehicle, especially an automobile: “It was a night of lovers. All along the highway... motors were parked and dim figures were clasped in revery” (Sinclair Lewis).

Engine

1a. A machine that converts energy into mechanical force or motion.
1b. Such a machine distinguished from an electric, spring-driven, or hydraulic motor by its use of a fuel.

2a. A mechanical appliance, instrument, or tool: engines of war.
2b. An agent, instrument, or means of accomplishment.
3. A locomotive.
4. A fire engine.
5. Computer Science. A search engine.
