It kinda sucked because they had plowed my favorite lot about an hour before we got there, so there wasnt as much snow as i was hoping. It still worked though:

Thats just a light dusting. Got two feet again last night. Dang lake effect. Slated for over 4 feet by the end of the weekend. And I got to drive to Allentown Pa.

It is just a dusting, and it's more than we got here in Champaign.

Well, that might be a little overestimating, but yes;
it's been Alaska-like here in Western NY. After having
my car several yrs. now, I've finally begun driving it
more in adverse conditions. After two hours in it yesterday,
in the dark, in the blinding snow, on back, unlit, unplowed
country roads...at speeds not recommended for the faint of heart,
I fell in love! Sure, it's not 4-wheel drive, but AWD; but if you're
willing to "wrestle gently" and not lift....the SVX handles
beautifully! Even with wide, half-gone summer tread!! Wonder
why that NYS Trooper didn't turn around and nab me though;
maybe because it was 1 degree outside!? Maybe it was the huge plume of white powdery snow, like the clouds that trail the
space shuttle, that enveloped him; as I whipped by in the other
direction at a very high speed? Maybe he thought it was a UFO.
I don't know, but I'm still grinning!
I was, afterall, picking up the paperwork for our still brand-new
2002 Chevy Trail Blazer......that I got for a steal...tax-free!
I think I'm gonna burst now. BTW, go to a Racing School if you
you insist on driving fast, as I did; as I do!
