I will one day get myself an ultralight. Been a dream of mine ever since I first laid eyes on an issue of Popular Mechanics when I was a kid.
Hey Johnny,
I've always wanted to fly Helicopters too., I've got a set of Ultra-light Helicopter plans....one of these days when $$ allows, I'm going to built one. (of course as long as I have an SVX, I probably won't have the $$ )

Wealthy I ain't... for all who want more information on flying as a hobby (and a living) you could do worse than check out http://www.beapilot.com where you can also get a $49 intro flight.

The intro flight at least should tell you if it's truly something you want to pursue.

Hey, If you've wanted to fly and have alot of space to try this... Look in the back of Popular Science or Popular Mechanics magazines... There is usually something about the pedal powered planes in there... I would really like to do this.... You know, get a work out and experience the thrill of flying all in one package!!!! I would love to do it!!!

Yeah, but a leg cramp at 1000ft could really ruin your day and soil your pants!
