OT Ford Parts
Would any of you guys be interested in buying any ford parts? My friend and I are thinking about getting the parts selling business. They will be stock ford parts. The savings should be significant, about 30% on regular parts, and upwards of 200% on electrical parts.
My friend lives in Canada so at first it will be only Candadien parts. However if it appears to interest in the US, I will be working on getting a licensed Nafta agreement so we can export here. He has availability to EVERY part from Ford, every model from (my guess) back to 1980. SVT/Saleen/Ford Motorsport parts are available as well, however the prices won't be much better than they would be if you went to buy them yourself. Let me know what you guys think. I will be setting up a website for this called www.fordpartsforcheap.com We took a couple sample prices on like waterpumps and ps pumps, we can usually save the customers $35 to $65 on each part, even after shipping. Thanks, Ryan (too bad I can't get Subaru parts that cheap)

Too bad I just gave the Exploder back to the in-laws. No sir, I won't be touching another Ford. Ever.
Let me know what the most expensive electronic Ford part you can find is. If I can really save 200%, then the more expensive the part, the more you'd have to pay me to take it. Then I could sell the thing for retail and make even more money off it. NOICE!

Hehe, I woulnd't buy a Ford either....
Just so happens that they are the only parts I can get cheap.
As for the electrical, we have priced out some PCM's for deisel injectors and things like this. Average retail is about $1690 (CDN) a piece, we can get them to a customer for about $900(CDN) and we are still making quite the hefty profit on that. I don't expect to make much money, but then again, we are talking about Ford's, or FoundOnRoadDead's as I tend to call them. Ryan

I think you missed my point. If you take 200% off of a $500 part, that's -$500.

Duh....
Ok the parts are marked upwards of 200% above cost....hence I could save them that much ABOVE cost....bad wording I guess.
