Maisto Models

Hey, all! I found the site for the Maisto Corporation. Here is a link to their suggestion/contact page. I would suggest that everyone goes there and lets them know we want to buy SVX replicas!

I filled it out with a pleading email and brief history of the car.

I think the Taimia XT model was actually of the XT6 concept car. Can't remember exactly what it was called but it had the big glass panel roof on it. I have an Turbo XT model that was pretty lame, no engine or real undercar detail at all. So I carfully cut open the hood and transplanted a Nazca V12 drivetrain in it. Now it's a kick ass XT with 18"wheels, big disk brakes, and working fog lites. If only real cars were that easy.

Just as a follow up...

I emailed Maisto about an SVX scale model earlier this week, and this was the response I received this morning:

Thanks for taking the time to respond to us about what models you would like for us to make, we can only however add your request to our customer request list at this time.

Thanks
Maisto Customer Service

Okay, so at least they have a list of requests. It stands to reason that if they receive a lot of requests, they can keep track of that information.

This is a chance for SVX owners to stand up and be heard so that a product they want gets made for them.

Email Maisto and ask them to make a model of the SVX. Here's the address, again.

It takes two minutes. A more pleading, and hopefully therefore more convincing, email might take five.
