any ideas?

car was running fine, then all of a sudden it felt like it dropeed a couple cylinders, it backfires bad!!!, chugs at about 400 rpms, and cant get them much higher...even if i hold the gas to the floor for a minute...plus had to walk home in 13 degree wheater....burrrrrrrr
