Looks like we are going for the record. Those with a SVX will be in the minority.

Oh for crying out loud!!!!!!

This just pisses me off.

If you keep doubting everything Michelle, you will get no cars and no people cuz everyone will be pissed off. Be happy if 10 people show up, not 10 cars, but 10 people. And if more show up...great. It doesn't really matter how anyone gets to Reno, because, as Tancred says....its a meeting of friends.

Don't post any more of your doubt here or in the chat. Simply fact about the Reno meet is that it is a difficult weekend period: Father's Day, first weekend after school is out (in Washington), etc. But sh!t happens. You cannot control it Michelle. Its not a jinx.

Enough said.

I'm not trying to be down. Just going with the flow. Par for the course. Things will happen. I'm still happy with my choice of vacation, and I hope everyone else will be too. I simply made the comment which seemed obvious..... I thought I'd get great comments back as testaments to the network, the family, etc.....
Sorry if it came across as negative, I didn't mean it that way, but I know how it was construed as such.

I was thinking about bringing my bimmer, but I guess I can bring the SVX.

I look forward to hanging out with some of the car nuts I've 'met' here on the board. That and the new floor mats Dayle is bringing me.

Tahoe is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Everyone who comes will have fun.

There's a couple of local Reno folks (from the Yahoo board) that are going to meet us. So the list is actually longer than it seems. Some will drop out, but I bet we get more last minutes shows than you expect. Despair not!

Matt

Ugh, glad youre taking the SVX instead of the van. No offense, but the van wouldn't look as nice in pictures.

but after driving 1000 miles for 10-12 hours, Im not sure how much more driving Im going to feel like doing till I have to leave.
Ill be wanting to rest, relax, talk, take pics, eat and oh, rest again for my time Im there. Im up for anything but if we can keep the driving excursions down to a minimum that would be great.
Anyone else agree ?

I wanna see Tahoe, can't think of anything else that requires driving, except maybe the car museum.
