My steering just went lighter

I've driven my car 7000km since march. The last time was yesterday. When I took it out from the garage today I could swear the steering felt much lighter than it should.

Let me cut in here that during these 7k kms, I've felt that the SVX steering was quite well weighted and fairly OK on feedback. There are so many potholes here the wheel has been constantly chatting about in a good and confident way. A bit heavier at slow speeds and more smooth in higher speeds.

Today I didn't do any speeds over 60km/h and it was a short trip but damn, the steering felt a bit dead and felt very light at those low speeds.

So what, if anything really, has happened? Did the speed sensitive power steering just start to work today? Did that coke bottle stuck in the wheel finally fall out? Did I lose traction on my front wheels? Did the power sensor go?

No lights before or after this event. I haven't really put it to the test on exciting tarmac yet.

Any idea?
