Actually, if that run was with nitrous, I'm a bit surprised it only ran a 13.8. With a 750 lb weight reduction (car should weigh about 2850 lbs), taught suspension, and a 75 HP nitrous shot, I would have expected a low 13 sec or high 12 sec run. I don't mean to devalue their efforts, but I was expecting a lower number. I'm very curious to read the details of the day's events.

I think 13.8 is pretty good. The stock SVX runs around 15.8 stock, and every 100pounds is spose to shave off .1 sec so your down to 15.05, and then nitrus shaved off 1.25 secs which seems pretty good.

Hey, can someone give us some numbers for other cars that are running this... for comparison. Unless they're going to post the results later or something...

The brief report
I'm wiped out- I can't give the whole report now, but I wanted you to hear the news. Looks like you already have!
13.8 @ 101 with a 75hp shot of nitrous (I pulled it off- my first time racing! What a rush! ) Several other low 14 passes (including a 14.1 @ 102 by a sixteen year old driver!) 15.1 N/A all day long (3 or 4 consistant passes) None of our 4 drag drivers had ever raced before. Our best time on the autocross was 56.646 (by a pro driver). Porter pulled a 57.7. Best student time 64.4 (16 year old). Winning best time was 54.0 (in a beautiful Alfa Romeo) I dont' know how we did at the concourse- probably middle of the pack. It was good enough for a 13th place overall showing!!! We were thrilled as first timers!! We did win the highest placing Subaru (I'll wear the hat proudly, and the kids are going to tear up the ultra cool R/C STI they gave me as a prize- you should have seen everyone drool!!) What a blast!! We had a great time!! My hats off to the winners, and all the competitors- this was totally cool!! Now, its nap time. I'll give a more complete report later. Thanks SVXer's. Its kind of a shared win. We certainly could not have done it without you. -P^uL
