Chino reason not to add more rooms...

< I just know Chino as a friend of mine who sold me my first SVX>

Is he wishing to attend? Should I add another room?

Before the paperwork arrives everyone....
Do we need more rooms? or will 15 be enough and anyone coming in later will just have to take their chances? Don

Unhappy Snowshoe II-Canaan Valley

Hey Don and the gang,I got back from Nashville last night and brought home a new filly to the stable-a 93 Nissan 300 ZX pearl white convertible. It's not an SVX but a nice fair weather cruiser. Only 3500 made between 93 and 96. Needs some minor things done but overall in great condition. Will make a good project car. Don, I had my weekends wrong-I have to be in Kansas City the same weekend as the meet.Sorry! I'd much rather be with you guys but it will be a working weekend. I have to take note of everthing that occurs issue and legislative wise on the floor of the ADA convention the whole session and I'm alternate delegate so I'll have to vote if one of our delegates is off the floor at the time of a vote. Sounds boring, doesn't it ? Can you guys think up some good excuses so I won't have to go ? Any ideas would be appreciated, except any mother in law ones. (Some of my colleagues know her).......Earl

Earl! Good to hear from you! You could use the same excuse many of our Kentucky delegates use: "You shouldn't have more delegates than you have teeth in the state." Give Yvonne Shari's and My best. I hate it that you won't be able to make it.

Don't be too down-in-the-mouth about it. Perhaps we can schedule Canine valley the following year. Really bites! Tsu.

Canaan....pronounced "ka-nane"

<Don't be too down-in-the-mouth about it. Perhaps we can schedule Canine valley the following year. Really bites! Tsu>

Are you impacting a different meaning of the word? I could see Molar wanting to visit such a place...and perhaps enjoy a little incisor trading of the latest dental hardware... But since Jean and I love to ride our bicuspids, we avoid canines whenever possible.

I hope, on the other hand Ron, that you are not insinuating that our beloved membership will be going to the dogs next year! If so, then I believe you might be barking up the wrong tree. I would be a heel to lead my pack of friends to someplace fit for a dog. Why, they would raise the woof! Would you want to go somewhere where you would run the risk of running into something that might bite tsu? Of course not; that wouldn't hound very good to me either! Don

Since we're doing tooth puns.....

Do you know why the Buddhist refused the novacaine when he was having a tooth filled?

(See next post for punch line)

No, he definitely won't be attending. He's a card-carrying car fanatic, but not much for meets. Besides, he has a '91 300ZX ... his ex is on her 2nd SVX, but, ahhhh, she won't be attending either!

Trancending poor puns

<He wanted to transcend dental medication>

Applause...clapping...hoots of approval.

After a barage of my cheapies, I can always count on Bill to come out the clouds, guns blazing, and nail us with a good one! Don

Snowshoe II-Canaan Valley

You guys, the puns were great( may I use that one SVXTER?)but eddycat is the only one to give me advice as to an excuse to get out of this trip. I haven't been to Canaan Valley in over 25 years, but I remember it as being really scenic. Don and Jerry, how about a drive as a group over to Blackwater Falls and/or to Dolly Sods? They're both beautiful places and great roads for our SVX's. Can't remember the distances involved, however. As you can tell, I'd much rather spend the weekend with you guys.

Dolly.....as in Sods...not "wood"

Molar,
Blackwater was our second consideration after Harpers Ferry, but they were booked solid. They are so close to Canaan though, a visit is a MUST. They are having an Astronomy weekend at Blackwater the weekend of the 20th, so perhaps we can stop by and see a few (non-Hollywood or Dollywwod) stars! Dolly Sods, Smoke Hole Caverns...there are LOTS of scenic drives aren't there?

Keep working on an excuse not to go to that conference! Don
