eg33 swap wont rev

ok so did the 33 swap on my 92 legacy, well ive got it to idle and it kind of has a smooth idle. idles around 1000rpm and drops to 750 or so and climes back to 1000. so right when i give it any gas at all it misfires, bucks and dies....

only codes i can pull are code 12 (abnormal signal at ignition switch) with the green T connecter connected

and i do get a code 34 (egr valve innop.) i deleted this part so i epxpected this. this comes on with my black connecters connected

any ideas? i keep goin through every damn sensor but im stuck at the moment

also using a green jecs maf, are obd2 mafs different than obd1's? didnt think they were

Re: eg33 swap wont rev

If you have another MAF id try swapping it out first just to eliminate it.... Idling ok then stalling under any throttle is a symptom of a MAF problem, among other things. So you have the EGR vacuum ports on top plugged right?

Re: eg33 swap wont rev

hey thanks for a reply, well i put the maf on my 98 gt and it worked fine... i had a code for the maf but fixed it by fixing its power wire coming from the ecu. now i get no code for it... is there any documents here for testing the maf wiring

as for egr yes it is now a vacuum/boost port but is closed for now

at idle im getting 20 on vacuum so i doubt a leak anywhere

hmmm, i know when i had the code for the maf i just took it off and it still acted same way as if i had a maf connected. seriously these wiring diagrams have many errors...
