Maybe we can get SIA to get one of those giant air contioned tents to put up. We could have punch and pie there.

They also have a new $3,000,000 dealership which can accomodate a number of us for a GTG or photo op if we'd like. The museum parking lot is not all that large from what I recall.

Yore purty quick on the draw thar partner!
<I just spoke with Andy Thimlar of Speedway Subaru/VW/Mazda>
You beat me to it Todd! Got off the phone last night with my sister in Indy, and she recommended that I contact....yep, Speedway Subaru, and see if they might sponser us! I will be in Indy for Thanksgiving, perhaps I can stop by for an "eyeball" as we ham operators call it, and add a bit to your phone call. Keep me informed as to what you want me to do! Don <The museum parking lot is not all that large from what I recall> True....but what about the pits, Gasoline Alley, or the Grand Prix course?

10th Anniv. SVX Meet Motel List
Hi gang,
I just posted the motel lists for this SVX meet. There are motels in Lafayette and West Lafayette. When making reservations for all but the Radisson, you should tell the motel that you are attending functions at SIA for Subaru to get the "Special SIA Rate". I want to make the Radisson the main motel. It is closest to the plant and they have meeting rooms and banquet facilities large enough for the planned dinner. Do not make reservations yet at the Radisson. I'm trying to negotiate a better than SIA price. So please hold off on making reservations. Thanks Larry III |

His name doesn't ring a bell. What does he do?
I have no idea. I last saw him about 20 years ago. He is a ham radio operator. We were roommates for a short time in Iceland, and he got me off my buns to get my General Class ham license. Are you familiar with a store called the Ham Outlet? He used to visit there on occasions. Don

Don, enjoy Indy at Thanksgiving. Speedway is in (appropriately enough) Speedway, IN and Tom Wood is in Carmel at the top of the I-465 loop
