After much (slow - dial-up connection
 ) research, I have arrived at the following shipping rates for the lights, including insurance:The cost of the lights, as stated earlier, is $199.00. I wonder if anyone is going to sign up for the 6000K?
 I still can't believe I was able to convince Tom to install his HIDs into my Polo! You are going to LOVE this upgrade! I get more light, whiter light at a greater distance with just the projectors than I ever did with my PIAA low and high beams combined. From a safety standpoint, I always wanted visability-- to see and be seen. that is why I had such powerful PIAAs and the BriteBulbs in my tail/brake lights. And why I never considered tinted windows Driving during the day with these HIDs on make sure that you are noticed by oncoming traffic, even if the sun is in their eyes. Once they start shipping, I can't wait for the other reviews to start showing up. .

For those who din't know which ones to choose, here is a short synopsis (with photos) of the difference between 5000K and 6000K.
The 5000K gives you more lumens, or more light output for your buck. The 5000K bulbs produce 3200K lumens of light, compared to the 9006 Silverstars, which only produce 1000 lumens. .

I will gladly review and take pics once my car gets back from the shop, which should be this week. I will be using a baseline testing of the 9005 cool blues vs the 5000k kit.
I will also be showing the difference between the two using a mounted tripod and manual exposure settings to show the quality of light difference and the cutoff. Payment has already been sent P.S. I sent back my old resistor today... P.P.S. Did you ever send out the black trim too?
