You'll have to decide that stuff on your own. That's half the fun.

The stage 3 software also uses fuel injectors designed for the sr20det but it doesn't sue the nissan 370cc injectores it uses the nismo 740cc injectors which are much more expensive.

Why would you want larger injectors on an na car?
If you want to run e85.
If you are doing engine work to attain higher power levels.
If you are running a dry shot of nitrous.

The point of the fuel injectors isn't to make more power on a stock car. The point of the fuel injectors is to let you do things to the car to make more power.

My current motor isn't too stock, thanks to Tom. But I do have another motor I'm going to re-build and do some tweaks to.

So I paypal you $20 and ship back my 2v6? I can still run the V7 chip with the stock injectors right?

No, no you can't. The stage2v7 and stage2v7f software will only work with the 370cc injectors.

Michael,
But what if you cranked the fuel pressure up on the stock injectors so you were flowing 300 cc (okay, so this requires 60psi )?

Bill, what are you asking me? Why would you want to do such a thing? The injectors and maf meter are a good match to provide engine management for everyone wanting to work their way towards the 400something range.

ooooooooh that was a joke about trying to make the stock injectors work with the 2v7 software.

I get it now. Bad joke. Go to time out for 30 minutes.

I like the idea of larger injectors. Do we also have to purchase the harness for the injector or will the stock on plug in?

How much modding is needed to justify the larger injectors? Are the stage 1 Delta cams enough?

You need the electrical plugs for the injectors. They are available on ebay as well. I think they are $70 for a set of 6. They come with wires in them but rather than cut your wires you can just pop them out of the connectors and swap just the plastic connectors.

As for when to make the jump to stage 2v7 over stage2v5...I think I'll leave that kind of discussion and decision making to you guys.

Michael,
Glad you caught that one after it bounced off the wall behind you

Pics

Thought this might help...

Picture of the stock SVX injectors:

Picture of sr20det injectors on Ebay (beware of ones from the Q45, they don't fit!)

Comparison of injectors (thanks to SVXFiles!)

good pics...your bottom arrow shows exactly what to look for to make sure you are getting the right 370cc injectors. The 370cc injectors with the small oring all the way down by the cap are the right ones.

Injectors with the oring up on the body like the yellow one do not fit.
