I saw one post indicating an issue. It's a 5 speed swap with low miles for $3200. That's why the first thing I said is "what's the catch?". I don't think this indicates any type of intoxication. Chill bro.

He is kinda infamous on here for bad deals..
Maybe you should search for all threads started by jrturbosvx and read the comments on his some of his for sale threads?

He has not such a good rep on here...He has been called, "dishonest" and "untrustworthy".
He is known to not ship parts once paid for, and not paying for parts that people have shipped him...

Now that I have have listed a few of the issues others have had with him, let me explain how I met josh...
First time I met josh(jrtrubosvx) was through an ad on craigslist.
He had a Red 94 SVX LSI "mint condition" "ready to go" on craigslist that I went and looked at.
When I saw it, it had no hood, no exhaust from the headers to the muffler, and interior was ripped apart and stuffed into the backseat...
The drivers fender was dented on the top, and when he started it up there was a noticeable knock that increased with RPM.
I left disappointed...

You want to deal with josh, that is fine, but we are just trying to warn you.
P.S. Last I heard he put his parts into storage, and has gone away for a year.

I don't want to deal with him, I just thought a car with that description for $3200 sounded like a good deal. That's all I was saying. I'm not interested I live in Oregon anyway. Good to know all this stuff maybe he should be banned?

The car was at Reading last year. It was pretty beat up and had been in pretty bad front end collision. As I recall it needed a radiator, bumper, radiator support, fender, and hood. The rest of the body was good but had been repainted, the interior was pretty beat up, and it also had a rebuilt title from a previous accident.
I think he bought it cheap to do a quick flip, but since posting this thread I don't believe he has been back on the board and I don't know why.

That would explain why he need quick cash. You don't get much shadier then this guy. To even describe that SVX as decent condition is a lie.

I had the pleasure of meeting him, also through a craigslist ad. I saw this car when he first got it home. It was in need of a lot of work. I also saw how he worked on things... he has limited mechanical ability, and does a hackjob on everything he works on. He had me do a rear wheel bearing (which he stiffed me on), and when I tried to get him to do some of the work, he botched the most simplest of tasks. After seeing how he opperates, I would not buy anything from him... No matter how good of a deal it seems like.
