crank pulley starter trick ?
do the fans have to be connected for the motor to bump over?
im pulling everything to replace the timing belt and ive gotten to the crank pulley well i'd already read about the methods to break it loose and i'd chosen on the starter one only, turning the car over produced a click - and the check engine idiot indicator clicks rapidly in time to a relay...? what gives, it cranked over just fine with everything connected... but with the radiator out [w/fans] and a few other things undone it just clicks and won't turn over... both sides of the battery are secure - but she wont actually bump over and break the bolt loose any ideas? |

why did you remove the radiator to do a timing belt? |

Re: crank pulley starter trick ?
having the radiator out gives me more room to roam, i like tight spaces, but if we go down that route we certainly aren't talking about my car anymore
so, the radiator is out, the screwdriver trick worked and off came my pulley and covers... this is what was within |
