Good to see a lot of the old fellers are still here. Surprised to see the Beav, n' Huck, n' such. I still lurk some, chime in rarely. Where's Randy? I haven't heard from him for awhile, though my spam emails are apparently getting through.
 I guess it's time to give him a call.Kermit is still going strong, but looking pretty sad (paint). With the exception of my two motorcycles, it's still my daily driver. We replaced both sets of wheel bearings in the rear last week for the first time. Had the first cv boot go out just before that so we replaced the right front axle. Haven't had to make payments on it for some time now, so I can at least affort to keep it in good running condition. Nearly 160K, and runs like a top! Other than those, and the rear transmission seal two years ago while in Steamboat, CO, no other repairs have been necessary (though last year it wouldn't shift to fourth in sub 20 degree weather until it had a couple miles of warm up on it). http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/files/wasions/646.jpg

I stop in to look every so often, I've had my car in storage for the last year or so while building a new house. should be back on the road this winter. I tend to drive it only for comuting. I've had to use the surburban with trailer while building house.

as i recall the trannie is designed NOT to go into 4th until it reached a certain operating temp.

Hey everyone. I don't post very often, but i visit almost everyday (lurking). My Barcelona Red Baby has been sitting in the driveway for almost 11 months now waiting for another tranny. Already did it once (tip: stay away from aamco) and this time i'm gonna do it right: cooler, Transgo kit, new high clutch drum, etc. I love my car, but why does it have to be such a pain in the A**! Also need to do the alternator wiring "upgrade" Only has 65K miles on it so I don'tthink i'll be getting rid of it anytime soon.

Hey everyone.......I've been posting some questions, etc. Pretty new to the Subaru.net........Just bought a used 95 SVX in Joisey a month ago.......got some pics in my personal locker. Check and see em.......Got some exterior work to do on the body, paint etc., but it'll be a good project car.
I've got to tell you I gave my 1/2 ton Silverado one hell of a mountain workout driving from Cleveland through Pennsylvania!! Hope to hear from some svxers soon!!! matt
