Chevy Forester Anyone?

Looks like GM will begin selling the Forester as a rebadged GM product (didn't say which one) in India this year according to Crain's Auto News. Coming soon to a dealer near you- Chevy Avalanche Jr.

Perhaps they'll call it the "Mudslide."

I apologize. This was a request for a source, and you provided one. Whoops.

Ben mentions Crain's Automotive News in his first post. I went to their website to try and read the article, but you've got to be a paid subscriber. The article list for this weeks issue does mention the article Ben refers to.

GM Forester

Yeah it came from Crain's Auto News, January 20th issue page 46. Its just a 4 paragraph blurp. Article also says subaru is forcasting sales of 208k this year in the U.S. a 15.5 percent increase.

I know he did. I missed that the first time I read his post. My mistake.

No doubt due in part to the popularity of the WRX and the press that the new STi will generate.

Subaru Sales forcast

I would suspect the WRX hasn't hurt. You figure though the discounts they are gonna give on the Legacy Special Edition. $20,450 for a LOADED Legacy is definately a deal esp when you consider that great ABS system is now standard. Discounted just in time to roll out the next Legacy.
