Unhappy Suffering Withdrawals

*Sniff* I can't stand it. My SVX blew a high pressure power steering hose and I have been without it for a week now since I can't get a new hose until next week. I love the Acura Legend I have been driving, but it isn't the same. *Sniff* Poor Ruby.

I've been without mine for 3 weeks. It is really starting to get to me. Hang in there... think of what it will be like to drive her when you get her back!

I can sympathize. I have been without mine since I started disassembling it late August to replace just about all the rubber seals and hoses in the engine bay. Problem is every time I think I have all the parts I need to finish reassembling it, I find/ break something else…I’m figuring I’ll finally get it back together by the end of this month…I hope.

The worse part is that the car has been apart for a longer time that since I bought it then I drove it. * shrug *

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
I know the feeling, I bought mine with a bad tranny(who'd of thought) and it was 5 months before I got another auto tranny for it, put it in and it lasted about a month!

So I then decided I'd make it a manual, which between locating parts, and tring to cut off my finger took about another 6 months to get back on the road!

So in the first year of SVX ownership, I only got to drive it 1 month!

Hope it never goes that long again

I miss Helix too!

I'm in the same boat (apparently we need a ship because there are a lot of us) Mine, not only got ran over by a semi-truck but also refused it's tranny transplant and is now going for the third. It has been in the shop for 3 weeks now and I suspect it will be there for at least another month or more. I sure do miss her. My rental car, though sufficient (mitsubishi Gallant) just IS NOT an SVX!

2 weeks for me and counting. There is just no comparison between the wife's wagon and the SVX. I almost forget what it was like to drive the SVX...almost
