Blower Motor ALWAYS ON
Hey guys and gals,
The problem is related to the blower motor. The motor will always stay on even after I press “off” on the HVAC panel. I had never really bothered to look down there as I thought that was normal, but I just got annoyed this morning by it so I checked. Right away I noticed that It was missing a relay, which at some-point was replaced by a 30A fuse that is hardwired (I’m guessing the previous owner had issues with it).*See Picture The main goal is to actually make the blower motor to STOP spinning when I push the “off” button because I’m so sick of the background noise. So, how can I go about achieving this? Should I install a separate switch? Or Does anyone have an extra relay assembly? Also is there supposed to be a cover that hides all this stuff or is it supposed to be exposed like in the attached picture.
