Wrist pins and connecting rods

Hey everyone,

I ran into a bit of a snag with my engine build and I thought I would get a few opinions.

After cleaning my stock connecting rods I found some surface pitting on the edge of them.

I have another set of connecting rods from a previous build that I can use instead. Do you think my current connecting rods are worth throwing in? And if not would it be safe to use the pistons and wrist pins from my current build with connecting rods from a different engine?
