Nickelback - Silver side up
Nightwish - Dark passion play

And a homemade compilation CD of my favourite tracks from Metallica and various other bands.

I hadn't heard of those bands over here so I looked them up on youtube. Now my ears are bleeding! Just Kidding. I don't mind listening to really heavy angry music occasionally, it's better than most of the stuff that gets played nowadays.

Ride the Lightning from Metallica is my all time favorite album.
However I love all kinds of popular music, mainly rock but every kind, from the 50's up to today, Hardcore Heavy Metal to easy listing wuss rock. I also have been getting into classic county like George Jones, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard etc.
I don't like rap, classical or jazz so much but still listen to some of that too occassionally.

Listen to a lot of metal. Big fan of symphonic metal, gothic metal, pretty much any metal from northern Europe. I will admit, some of my favorites are the ones unknown. I tend to stop listening to bands as they get "discovered".
Also listen to quite a bit of country as well as some more "mainstream" type rock/metal.
Put it this way, last I checked, I can listen to music for 2 months, running 24/7 and not hear the same song twice. Well over 1500 bands, and I am constantly adding as well as deleting stuff that no longer appeals to me or even specific songs that I don't like from bands I like. Basically, I listen and enjoy everything on my computer.
