I hate all other drivers...
walking out of the grocery store tonight, i witnessed a gray rusty toyota truck hit my svx...and then speed away. huge gouge in my right front engine panel...nice little line in my passenger door panel...broken right hand side mirror...and busted out upper right door glass...i'm soooo happy right now words cannot express it. filed a police report, but there's nothing that they can really do. plus it's labor day weekend...and i needed to go up to the college this tomorrow. this is just @$#Q%#@%&@$%#% perfect! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's drivable...and i just really need that window glass fixed so i can commute...but the lines are all busted up i'm going to go cry now...

$250 isn't too bad. Mine was $500 and I had my stereo stolen. There was also some damage to the dash so I had to pay the entire $500 deductable. Then after my repairs were finished, I took the car to get a new stereo installed. The installers broke the piece of dash that was replaced (A $600 part, not including labor to install it) and they wouldn't take responsibility for it. Now I'm sitting with a half-assed mounted stereo and the cover doesn't close properly. I know this doesn't compare to what happened to you, but I hope it helps you feel a little bit better Don't worry though. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end. And remember. Sh*t always happens now and then.
Dave.

im sure if you hang out at the store long enough they will be back. I worked at a grocery store, the poorest people like to hang out at them.

I am offended by your language and racial slurs. I don't care if it is from "Pulp Fiction"; there's no need for it here. So please keep it clean. Thanks. Larry III |

Anyway... uh.. why didn't you just run to the SVX and catch up with them? They WERE in a toyota pickup right? That should be pretty easy to catch. I would have hauled ass in hopes to get their plate #.

This thread changed
I am really sorry to hear what happened to your car. If it's a store you frequent, certainly keep an eye out. Your a better man than I as I would have caught up to the truck and not just to get the tag number (which is all one should do).
As for the comment in question, the anger is an understandable reaction however Squiggy's movie quote, appropriate in some arenas is not appropriate in all arenas. Comments here should be the latter. Let's not lose site of the original post however and keep the condolences for Srmifer, What a cr@ppy way to start your weekend. Sorry Randy ii |

well...
$2000 worth of damage...$250 deductible...it's not bad. the reason i didn't go run to my car to catch the guy was b/c...#1 i was in shock...#2 my foot is messed up...and #3 it was in the back area of the lot (i figure by parking there, i'm the safest). but thanks everyone for your concern...this car has turned into THE ultimate money pit. hell, at least the laptop is still working
