Subaru 6 Disc CD changer and subwoofer SVX ready plug and play

I had this in my SVX for only several months before I sold it. Everything was purchased brand new. I bought the 20 pin connector from SVXdc and I de-pinned the connector shell. I de-pinned the WRX subwoofer wire harness and swapped shells. Nothing was cut or spliced by me this harness looks the way it came out of the box minus the different connector shell. The 6 disc CD player I believe is from a Legacy. I went with it instead of the WRX 6 disc because this one has one knob and the WRX has two. Also the WRX requires you to remove or dremel down the black plastic piece on the backside of the radio door cover.

$210 shipped.

It's the subwoofer you can put it under the passenger seat. I decided to put it on the passenger floorboard where it curves up towards the firewall.

Just a tip for whomever buys this setup. You'll want to reverse the front and rear speaker wires so that the front outputs are wired to the rear, and the rear outputs are wired to the front. This headunit is from a Baja turbo and has a built in filter to keep bass off of the rear speakers. Our rear speakers are where most of the bass comes from in our cars, so wiring it backwards fixes the problem.

Another sidenote, a 03 Legacy GT with weatherband actually fits without any dremel needed, matches the interior and dash fonts and colors better.

I never had a problem with the bass. It was acutually too much bass under the passenger seat.

One of my favorite 'SVX' radios, I like the big knob. Also, it fits right in without modification, nice and clean

Edit: Well, some trimming may need to be done on rear of cage for antennae or plug, but the rear of the cage doesn't need to be removed like it does when swapping a 6cd/cassette

That cd player come out of what Subaru? And the wireds that come off the cd player where did u get those from?

Mike said the radio was originally for the Baja. The part number is in the pictures 86201AE40A call a dealer if you want to know for sure. I bought it brand new so it never came out of anything except for my SVX.

The T wire harness came with the subwoofer and the SVX connector came from SVXdc. Nothing was spliced just repinned.
