Cool dual exhaust???

i recently read a few thing on the svx in a faqs section on another site. it says that the svx should have dual'd out exhaust all the way back. i like the sound of the idea alot but wont i loose alot of back pressure if i do that? or should i run it into a x pipe so it just meets right after the third cat or should i elimniate the third cat and go straight back with a lil smaller pipe with two mufflers? this is some thing i am very interested in. i recently redid my exhaust and it comes straight out the middle. i dont really like the way it looks but it sounds beautiful. it's a flowmaster super 44 series and i love it. i was thinking of using two of them if i re do it again or would a complete magnaflow system better? let me know you oppinions cause they really do help me alot. everyones knowledge in here is amazing when it comes to these car's. thanks and have wonderfully wonderfull one.

All the oldbies here know of this FAQ and most of them do not like the information it contains.

Exhausts have been discussed and chopped and beaten to death around here. Pretty much everything has been done. If you want to go dual, go right ahead, just make sure you use a small diameter pipe of say... 2.25 inches at the largest.
I vaguely recall some resonation issues with this setup. An X pipe would be pointless. You might as well leave it stock.
Magnaflow and Stebro systems are common. I give them a "meh" at best. They sound ricey to me, but most people approve of the noise.

The average power user such as myself prefers the muffler delete setup, leaving the front stock and adding a cherry bomb or resonator or two. Some people go for higher flow cats. I don't see the point.

It sounds great, but I do at times get tired of the constant bvvv noise in the back of my head.

Your setup sounds intriguing, most of us will require pics.

Wink ok.

thank you. thats exactly what i have been thinkin. the shops down here all wanna chop my exhaust and tear out my cats and do a bunch of stuff to it that i dont aproove of. i'll take some pictures of the suby and send it to you. it sounds amazing and it keeps the hondas from thinkin there fast cause they pull up on the side take one look and one listen and coast on by without hitting the gas cause they know they dont stand a chance. i cant talk to much trash on them though because i just got a new project. it's a 91 integra gs with a b20 out of a crv and a new trans with stage three clutch in it. it's fun dont get me wrong but it dont compare to the svx. you know that. the main reason i started it is because im getting ready to tear down the motor on the svx and i need another car. i only payed 500 for it and am not gonna complain about a 500 hundred dollar drag car. thank you very much for your time concerning my issues i'll get some pics on here to show you guys what i have done. NOWELSY......
